Creating Trauma Sensitive Schools Conference

The Attachment & Trauma Network, Inc. (ATN) is hosting this National Conference for Creating Trauma-Sensitive Schools to give all educators – teachers, administrators and school personnel – as well as other child-serving professionals, community leaders and parents an opportunity to explore the importance of trauma-informed care for in schools and other child-serving environments. Through the ACEs studies and neurological research, we now know how significantly early trauma impacts a child’s ability to learn and develop and the importance of addressing the complexities of childhood trauma in schools.

February 19-20, 2018 |  Washington Hilton | 1919 Connecticut Avenue Northwest | Washington, DC 20009

Our Inaugural Conference is history. Because of you, it was a fantastic success.  We hope you came out wanting more.  Our kids are already better for the work you did here and what you will be doing back in your schools.

Keep checking this page, starting in April, for updates about next year’s conference.  (It will be at the same location on the same weekend.)

Handouts Page:

Presenters, please send any handouts you want posted on this page to  Attendees, please give the presenters and ATN a week to get the digital information on the page.  If you don’t see what you were looking for by March 1, please contact the presenter directly.

All Lost and Found items found their owners.  If you are still missing something, please contact the Washington Hilton.  We went through all of the session rooms to make sure nothing was left behind.
